McMINNVILLE, Tenn. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office announced late last week that additional arrests have been made in connection with a major methamphetamine trafficking investigation tied to Robert “Bobby” Alexander Russell, a Smyrna man arrested earlier this month.
The Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the McMinnville Police Department, confirmed that three more individuals were taken into custody as part of the ongoing effort to dismantle a large meth distribution network operating in Warren County.
On or about September 11, 2025, investigators received credible intelligence that Gracie Self was delivering a significant quantity of methamphetamine. Self, who is currently serving State Probation for two prior felony drug convictions in Warren County dating back to 2022, was arrested and charged with Manufacture, Sale, and Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Also arrested was Jacques Elam, who was charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine and Driving While in Possession of Methamphetamine. Elam, a convicted felon, has a previous felony drug conviction in Warren County from 2018.
In addition, Brandy Keen was charged with Manufacture, Sale, and Delivery of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. At the time of her arrest, Keen was reportedly found with several grams of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.
Sheriff Jackie D. Matheny, Jr. emphasized the importance of these arrests in the broader fight against meth in the community.
“Methamphetamine is destroying lives and families in Warren County, and those who profit from spreading this poison will be held accountable. These arrests show our commitment to pursuing every lead and taking down every individual connected to these drug operations. We will not stop until this network is dismantled and our community is safer.”
Authorities stressed that the investigation is far from over and additional arrests are expected in the coming days.
These latest developments stem directly from the September 6 arrest of Robert “Bobby” Alexander Russell, 38, of Smyrna, who investigators have called one of the largest meth suppliers in Warren and surrounding counties. Russell was apprehended in the early morning hours and charged with felony possession of 453 grams of methamphetamine (over 15 ounces) with the intent to deliver.
Officials noted that Russell had been transporting two to three pounds of methamphetamine per trip, several times per week, from Smyrna into Warren County and nearby areas for more than a year. His arrest was the result of a two-month-long investigation and marked a significant turning point in the effort to dismantle the distribution network.
As of Tuesday afternoon, all four suspects remain behind bars at this time (Jacques Elam, Gracie Self, Brandy Keen and Robert “Bobby” Alexander Russell).
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has pledged to continue aggressively targeting drug dealers and traffickers who threaten public safety with dangerous narcotics.
