SMYRNA, TN - WGNS has another shoplifting tale to share, and this one comes with a dash of facial hair flair. Smyrna Police say an unidentified man recently helped himself to merchandise from a local Walmart — apparently paying with the age-old method of the “five-finger discount.”

Armed with nothing but a mustache and questionable fashion choices, the suspect strolled through the aisles before exiting with items he forgot to purchase, according to the SPD. Surveillance photos show him wearing a brown shirt, black (or maybe just very dark) jeans with stylishly torn knees, pant legs rolled up to mid-ankle, and white shoes. Basically, it was less runway chic and more 'I'll throw this on.'

Authorities haven’t figured out who the man is, which is why they’re turning to the public. If you recognize the suspect — or his mustache — Smyrna Police encourage you to reach out.
