Murfreesboro, TN - This coming Saturday (10/18/2025) the hum of engines and the shine of chrome will take center stage in front of Mercury Plaza Shopping Center (1114 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.), where Murfreesboro’s Car and Bike Show rolls in with a mission far greater than horsepower. From 10:00 o’clock Saturday morning until 3:00 that afternoon--families, car enthusiasts, and community members will gather not just to admire vintage vehicles and roaring motorcycles—but to rally behind the American Cancer Society’s fight to end cancer.
It’s more than a showcase. It’s a celebration of resilience, remembrance, and the power of community. With food, music, and activities for all ages, the event promises a full day of fun wrapped in purpose. Every dollar raised goes directly toward cancer research and patient support programs, helping ensure that no one in Rutherford County—or beyond—faces cancer alone.
Denise Bond, one of the event’s key organizers, is the go-to for details and involvement. She can be reached at 629-201-3531 or via email at dbond1109@gmail.com. Whether you’re entering a vehicle, volunteering, or simply showing up to cheer--your presence makes a difference.
And the momentum doesn’t stop here. Mark your calendar for Friday, June 12, 2026, when the Murfreesboro Relay for Life returns to Oakland's Mansion from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It’s a night of walking, honoring, and celebrating survivorship—where every step and every story adds up to hope.
So come out this weekend. Admire the classics. Hear the engines. Feel the heartbeat of a community that refuses to give up. Because when Murfreesboro gathers, it doesn’t just make noise—it makes change!
