Director of Schools Don Odom has announced administrator changes affecting multiple schools.

“It’s important we find the best fit for administrators and the communities they serve for the betterment of the schools,” Director Odom said. 

Beginning in August, Dr. Chontel Bridgeman will serve as a split assistant principal for Barfield Elementary School and Blackman Elementary School. The Campus School principal position will be posted soon and a hiring decision will be made later in the summer.

Several assistant principal changes also will take effect in August because of retirements, transfers or reassignments. The affected schools include Smyrna Primary, David Youree, Stewarts Creek Elementary, Lascassas, Buchanan Elementary, Smyrna Middle, Rock Springs Middle, Stewarts Creek Middle, Siegel Middle, La Vergne Middle, LaVergne High, and Riverdale High.
