WOODBURY, Tenn. — A timeless story of imagination, adventure, and learning takes the stage this November as The Arts Center of Cannon County presents The Phantom Tollbooth, adapted from Norton Juster’s beloved children’s novel.

Even surrounded by countless toys, young Milo finds himself bored with everything — until a mysterious tollbooth appears in his room. Once he drives through, he’s transported to the Land of Wisdom, where an unforgettable journey begins. Joined by his loyal watchdog Tock, Milo learns that Princesses Rhyme and Reason have been banished, leaving two kings — one who values words and the other who prizes numbers — locked in disagreement.

Through daring adventures and clever discoveries, Milo learns that every moment and every idea has purpose. By the time he returns home, he realizes there’s never a reason to be bored in a world full of things to explore.

Audiences of all ages can experience this delightful production filled with humor, heart, and imagination. The Phantom Tollbooth is rated G, making it a perfect family outing.
