Murfreesboro, TN - Cliff and Jane Sharp, founders of Murfreesboro’s Greenhouse Ministries, were honored with Harding University’s Distinguished Alumni Award, a recognition reserved for graduates who exemplify the school’s mission of service to God, the church, and their communities.

Cliff Sharp, a member of Harding’s class of 1961 and Jane Ball Sharp, class of 1964, both served the university in various capacities during their time as students and beyond. Cliff was known for his leadership and mentorship, while Jane contributed to campus life through service and spiritual outreach. Their commitment to Christian education and community engagement continued long after graduation, shaping their vision for Greenhouse Ministries, which they co-founded in Murfreesboro 26 years ago.

Harding University, established in 1924, has long emphasized character, faith, and service. With over 60,000 alumni worldwide, the institution celebrates those who carry values into their professional and personal lives.
