Murfreesboro, TN - Middle Tennessee State University is conjuring up a weekend of Halloween magic for families and fans alike, with two days of free, festive fun on Oct. 28 and 29, 2025. From candy-filled strolls down Greek Row to a spirited football showdown, the campus is transforming into a playground of spooky delights.

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, little ghosts and goblins—ages 12 and under—are invited to Trick or Treat on Greek Row from 5 to 7 p.m. The sorority houses along Rutherford Boulevard and Alumni Drive will be decked out and ready to welcome costumed kiddos with games, treats, and True Blue cheer. Hayden Schimborski, coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life, says the event is all about bringing the community together: “Whether it’s trick-or-treating or joining the Party in the Grove, this is a chance for families to make lasting memories.”

The fun continues Wednesday, Oct. 29, with Party in the Grove kicking off at 3:30 p.m. in Walnut Grove. Expect bounce houses, face painting, a mechanical pumpkin ride, and even wax hand-making for those brave enough to take home a creepy keepsake. Food trucks will be on site, and MTSU alumnus Nick Carpenter—aka Medium Build—will perform live before the Blue Raiders face off against Jacksonville State at 6:30 p.m.

Just before kickoff, MTSU Athletics will host its own Trick or Treat event inside Floyd Stadium starting at 5:30 p.m. Kids in costume get in free and can enjoy candy, a costume contest, and concourse activities near the Family Fun Zone. The night also honors Breast Cancer Awareness, with fans encouraged to wear pink.

Whether you're chasing candy, cheering on the team, or soaking in the music and memories, MTSU’s Halloween celebration promises a “spooktacular” time for all.
