Smyrna, TN - Smyrna High School’s award-winning TV & Film Production program is once again turning heads—this time with its first-ever original student television series, The Fifth Block. The six-episode sketch-comedy show premieres Saturday, November 8 at 9:30 PM on TrueBlueTV, airing weekly and reaching viewers nationwide through syndicated PEG stations.

Written, produced, and performed entirely by students, The Fifth Block is more than just a comedy—it’s a showcase of Smyrna High’s creative spirit and technical talent. The program has already made waves with two full-length feature films, The Strings Attached and REAL, both now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
