Murfreesboro, TN - A driver is recovering after a serious Monday (11/3/2025) night single-vehicle crash on Puckett Creek Crossing in the Fortress Blvd. area. The car left the roadway and slammed into a tree. Murfreesboro Fire Rescue arrived quickly and found the driver entrapped. Using specialized extrication tools, firefighters managed to cut a space large enough to safely remove the driver without causing further injury.

Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services took over once the driver was freed. The patient was treated at the scene and then transported to a local hospital. Thankfully, his injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

Units responding to the scene included Ladder 11, Rescue 11, Safety 2, and Battalion Chief 2. Their coordinated efforts ensured a smooth and safe rescue under challenging conditions.
