Rutherford County, TN - It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the weekend before Thanksgiving. But for Murfreesboro locals, that date means more than turkey prep—it marks the return of the Art Studio Tour, now in its 32nd year. Tour 6 art studios Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 21–23, 2025. You’re invited to explore the heart of our creative community from 10:00AM to 5:00PM each of those days.
The Fall Art Tour is a self-guided journey through six studio locations across Rutherford County, where you’ll meet the artists, see their workspaces, and witness the magic behind the masterpieces. From hand-thrown pottery and vibrant paintings to fiber arts and mixed media, every piece tells a story—and yes, they make unforgettable Christmas gifts.
The tour began back in 1993, thanks to the vision of the Stones River Crafts Association. These local artisans wanted more than a marketplace—they wanted connection. They opened their studios to the public to share not just their work, but their process, their passion, and their purpose. That spirit still defines the tour today.
