MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for a road rage shooting on Interstate 24 Wednesday evening.
Detectives report that the incident occurred on I-24 East between Exit 76 (Medical Center Parkway) and Exit 78 (Old Fort Parkway) at approximately 5:05 p.m. on November 12, 2025. According to preliminary findings, a gray Nissan Titan was traveling eastbound when a dark-colored sedan was cut off in traffic. That sedan reportedly began driving erratically before firing shots at the Titan along the interstate.
Investigators are now searching for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has information that may help identify the suspect vehicle or driver.
