MURFREESBORO, TN - The holiday season wouldn’t feel complete without the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual Christmas Spectacular. On Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m., Belle Aire Baptist Church will open its doors to families, friends, and neighbors eager to celebrate the season with music that warms the heart and lifts the spirit.
Conducted by Terry Jolley and featuring the TPO Chorus, this concert has become a cherished tradition for Murfreesboro and beyond. The Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra has been part of the region’s cultural heartbeat since 1981, when Dr. Laurence Harvin founded what was then the University Community Ensemble. Over the years, the orchestra has grown in size and reputation, performing alongside renowned artists such as Angela Cheng, Boots Randolph, and Chris Young. Today, the TPO is proud to be fully professional, financially strong, and deeply committed to its mission of enriching community life through the arts.
