Nashville, TN - The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) is rolling out the fourth round of funding for its Tennessee Forestry, Agriculture, and Rural Markets (FARM) cost-share program. This initiative is all about strengthening agricultural supply chains and giving rural communities a much-needed lift. Focus on Equipment Purchases - This round is all about equipment. The program offers a 50% cost share rate, with awards capped at $250,000. In total, $3.3 million is up for grabs, but keep in mind: all purchases must follow federal procurement guidelines. If your project is selected, you’ll need to wrap things up by August 31, 2026.
How Applications Are Judged - Applications will be reviewed based on economic impact, readiness to proceed, benefits to the agricultural supply chain, and your ability to complete the project. The best part? FARM funds are reimbursement-based, so you don’t have to pay them back.
