MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) — Whether you're cheering on the sidewalk or watching from home, this year's Murfreesboro Christmas Parade will be more accessible than ever. For the first time, Big G TV will stream the entire parade live on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
The annual holiday tradition — featuring marching bands, dazzling floats, local organizations, and a visit from Santa Claus — begins at the intersection of East Main Street and Middle Tennessee Blvd., circles the downtown square, and ends at Walnut Street.
“This is the most magical day of the year,” says the Big G TV promo. “See every float, every smile, and the moment Santa arrives — live or anytime after the parade.”
The parade will be streamed at WGNSradio.com/parade, allowing families to tune in live or rewatch the fun later.
The 2025 theme is “A Sweet Christmas,” and this year’s Grand Marshal is Bill Allen — a 100-year-old D-Day veteran and Murfreesboro native — adding a heartfelt touch to the city’s most festive event.
While thousands are expected to line the streets, the new streaming option ensures nobody misses out on the magic — whether you're downtown in person or catching the celebration from the comfort of home.
The broadcast is brought to you by Kenneth Barrett for Sheriff, Middle Tennessee Electric, Farm Bureau Insurance, and Woodfin Funeral Chapels.
