NASHVILLE, TN - Smyrna Fire Station #4 has received one of the construction industry’s highest honors, the Associated Builders and Contractors' Excellence in Construction Eagle Award was presented at the Music City Center. This recognition places the station among the top projects in Tennessee, highlighting the craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to quality that went into its design and construction.

Each year, ABC member contractors across the state compete in this premier awards program, with projects judged by a panel of industry professionals. The awards spotlight the very best in construction achievements, and Smyrna’s Fire Station #4 stood out as a model of excellence.

Representing the Town of Smyrna at the ceremony were Mayor Mary Esther Reed, Assistant Fire Chief Camron Phelps, and Director of Public Works Tom Rose. Joining them was Michael Corwin, Senior Preconstruction Manager at Robins & Morton, whose team played a key role in bringing the project to life. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort that made the station possible, blending municipal leadership with private-sector expertise.
