MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department have identified a suspect and obtained warrants in connection with the theft of a money bag from an ATM cash service provider. The theft occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kroger store located on Old Fort Parkway at Cason Lane. According to police, the suspect took the bag of money while the cash service provider was preparing to reload the ATM inside the store.

After the theft, the suspect left the scene in a vehicle. Witnesses were able to provide a description of the vehicle to investigators, which assisted police in identifying the suspect and securing the warrants. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as the case progresses.
