Thu. (March 12, 2026) 11AM – 1PM The Annual Red Cross Heroes Lunch in MTSU’s Student Union ballroom (1768 MTSU Blvd.). This year the Heart of Tennessee Chapter honors John Floyd of Ole South Properties. He is the founder of Ole South Properties and has spent decades helping Middle Tennessee grow — not just through homes and development, but through his deep commitment to community service.

From supporting local nonprofits and education initiatives to empowering families through affordable housing, John’s leadership has left a lasting mark on Rutherford County and beyond.

In addition, the Volunteer Spotlight is on Terry Smith of Fast Signs. The community is encouraged to attend and celebrate and showcase the incredible impact of our community heroes.
