La VERGNE, TN - The northern end of Rutherford County is glowing a little brighter as it proudly celebrates the winners of the 2025 Light Up La Vergne Home Decorating Contest. Once again, neighbors across the community poured their creativity, heart, and holiday cheer into transforming their homes into twinkling showcases of the season. The result was a joyful mix of tradition, imagination, and good old-fashioned festive fun.

 

 

 

 

GRISWOLD AWARD

This year’s Griswold Award, the category reserved for the most delightfully over-the-top display, went to Sean Giovanni for his dazzling work at 2480 Moore Way. His home didn’t just light up the street—it lifted spirits, drawing smiles from everyone who slowed down to take in the bold, joyful scene.

CLASSIC

In the Classic category, Michelle Cantrell earned top honors for her beautifully timeless display at 301 Oakwood Cove. Her décor leaned into the warmth and elegance of traditional Christmas charm, offering a peaceful, nostalgic reminder of the season’s simple beauty.

BEST THEME

Rounding out the winners, the Best Theme award was presented to Lisa Dohve for her imaginative and festive creation at 212 Bluewater Cove. Her display stood out for its originality and cohesive storytelling, proving that a well-executed theme can turn holiday lights into a true work of art.

City officials offered heartfelt congratulations to all three winners and extended their appreciation to every resident who participated. Light Up La Vergne has become a beloved holiday tradition, one that brings neighbors together and highlights the community spirit that makes La Vergne such a special place to call home.
