MUJRFREESBORO, TN (WGNS News) - Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department crews responded to a residential structure fire at 2211 Oakhaven Drive just before 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning (1/4/2026). Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the home’s attic area.

Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and extinguish it. All occupants, along with their pets, had safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

The home is located off Jones Boulevard, near Trinity United Methodist Church.

The American Red Cross has been contacted and is assisting the family.
