SMYRNA, Tenn. (WGNS) - Stewarts Creek High School is searching for a new leader of its football program following the resignation of head coach Ben Caudill Wednesday (January 7th).
Caudill stepped away after six seasons.
His departure marks the end of one of the most successful stretches in the program's relatively young history. During his time with the Red Hawks, he posted a 38–28 overall record and his teams reached the TSSAA playoffs five times. The most successful run came last season in 2024, when the Creek finished 11–2, won its first region championship, and advanced to the Class 6A state quarterfinals. The run also included a record setting 10-game win streak. Several injuries in key positions kept the team out of the playoffs this past season.
