MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The application deadline is approaching for families interested in enrolling their children at Discovery School for the 2026–27 academic year. The local Murfreesboro City School is preparing to welcome its next class of students and is accepting applications through February 1, 2026. The school serves high-achieving and gifted students who reside within the Murfreesboro city limits and offers an academically accelerated curriculum focused on inquiry-driven learning and advanced academic development.

Applications opened December 1 for students entering kindergarten through sixth grade. School officials say there are 60 seats available for incoming kindergarten students, along with a limited number of openings in first through sixth grades.
