Sat. (Jan. 31, 2026) 5PM The Walnut House (116 Walnut St., Murfreesboro) will host the one‑night‑only Curtains UP! Theater Revue featuring theater companies from across Rutherford County. Rutherford Arts Alliance and hosted by Kara Kemp, the event showcases Bravo Boro, Carpe Artista, Center for the Arts, Consider This Theatre Company, Middle Tennessee Children’s Theatre, Murfreesboro Little Theatre, and Springhouse Theatre Company will each present a scene, monologue, or musical number. A reception with light snacks and drinks available for purchase begins at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. Jeff Lysyczyn of the Rutherford Arts Alliance says the revue offers a rare chance to sample the county’s “embarrassment of riches” in live theater.
