A man who recently lost his significant other to death has been arrested for a charge that included, “Abuse of 911” and “Retaliation for past Actions.” Police arrested 42-year old Dennis Oliver Seehof on Wednesday night. When they showed up at his apartment, he was said to be intoxicated. Police originally went to Seehof to check on his welfare after he dialed 9-1-1.
The police report detailed what officers would quickly find out once on the scene... The document states, “He advised that he had called 9-1-1 because his cable had been shut off and his phone would only dial 9-1-1.” Evidently Seehof called 9-1-1 in hopes that they would call his friend because he needed money.
Officers transported the 5-foot 9-inch tall - 135-pound man to the hospital for evaluation and once their he allegedly threatened to break an officer’s neck if he was not properly handcuffed. On Thursday, the subject was taken to jail where he was placed under a $6,000 bond. He will appear in court on July 11th.
