SMYRNA, TN (WGNS) - Smyrna Police are asking for the community’s help as they work to identify two vehicles connected to a credit‑card fraud investigation at a Speedway gas station on Tridon Drive. Detectives say a stolen or compromised credit card was used multiple times in December 2025 at the Speedway located at 8281 Tridon Drive, and surveillance images show a box truck and a semi‑truck present during some of those transactions.
Investigators aren’t saying yet how the vehicles may be tied to the case, but they believe identifying the trucks — or even the company name printed on the door of the semi — could help move the investigation forward. The images captured by Speedway’s cameras show both vehicles in the parking lot during the fraudulent purchases, and detectives are hoping someone in the community recognizes them.
The department stresses that identifying the trucks doesn’t necessarily mean the drivers were involved in the fraud, only that the vehicles were on‑site at key moments and could provide valuable leads. As with many cases involving credit‑card fraud, detectives are working through video, transaction logs, and witness accounts to piece together a timeline.
Anyone who can help identify or locate either vehicle, or who recognizes the company name displayed on the semi‑truck’s door, is asked to contact Detective Steve Martin at 615‑267‑5432 or steve.martin@townofsmyrna.org. Even small details, police say, can make a difference in cases like this
