MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) — Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School is celebrating a milestone season as both its 7th and 8th-grade varsity basketball programs secured league titles simultaneously. This dual victory marks the first time in the institution’s history that both the boys' and girls' varsity teams have claimed championship status in the same year.

The achievement is particularly significant for the Lady Stars, who have now secured back-to-back league championships. Their dominant performance over the past two seasons has established a new standard for the program.

Not to be outdone, the boys' varsity squad put together a disciplined campaign to climb to the top of the standings. By clinching the title alongside the girls' team, the 2025-2026 season officially becomes the most decorated basketball year in the school's record books.
