MURFREESBORO, TN (WGNS) - Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 30, 2026, as the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center prepares to welcome the community to its annual Show Your Till Charity Luncheon at the View at the Fountains. Table hosting and individual tickets are now available, giving supporters a chance to be part of an afternoon dedicated to raising essential funds for the Center’s healing and protective services.

This year’s luncheon features Dr. Wes Carr‑Patterson, founder of the Victoria W. Carr Foundation and a passionate advocate for domestic violence awareness. His work and personal mission have inspired audiences across the region, and organizers say his message will be a powerful addition to an already meaningful event.

The need for support continues to grow in Rutherford County. The Center reports a steady 5–6% annual increase in individuals seeking help, underscoring the critical role that the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center plays as the area’s sole provider of free services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Executive Director Ericka Downing says financial insecurity remains one of the biggest barriers for survivors. “Over 60% of the population we serve faces financial challenges,” she explains. “Through generous community contributions and sponsorship's  at Show Your Till, survivors can begin their journey toward hope and healing with our free wraparound supportive services.” She adds that every dollar raised stays right here in Rutherford County, directly supporting individuals and families in crisis.

This year’s luncheon is supported by an impressive lineup of sponsors. Silver Sponsors include Taylor Farms, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, Ascension Saint Thomas, and HCA Healthcare. The Center also extends appreciation to its Purple and Table Host Sponsors: Ascend Federal Credit Union, Wilson Bank and Trust, Two Sisters Maid to Clean, Modern Woodmen, Primis Mortgage, Gabe Helms at Provident Financial Planners, Jennings Jones, and Debbie Curtis with SART. Additional sponsorship opportunities remain available for those who want to join the effort.

The luncheon will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., aligning with National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Guests can expect a meaningful program, a shared sense of purpose, and the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of survivors. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, and those interested in sponsoring may contact the DVSAC office at (615) 896‑7377 or email ericka@dvsacenter.org.

Founded in 1986, the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center remains committed to protecting victims, preventing violence, and empowering survivors. More information about programs, services, and ways to get involved can be found at dvsacenter.org.
