Wed-Wed (June 3-10, 2026) Local DAR chapters are presenting the AMERICA 250 traveling exhibit at the Linebaugh Public Library (105 W. Vine St., Murfreesboro). Admission is FREE and it is open during regular library hours. The public is encouraged to attend a special public opening on Wednesday (6/3/2026) 5:00 p.m. Dr. Amy Sayward of Middle Tennessee State University—well known for her work with the American Democracy Project and MTSU’s Semiquincentennial Committee—will present “Swamps, Swords, and Sovereignty: The Campaign for Independence,” exploring the South’s pivotal role in the Revolution. A reception follows, complete with Colonial‑style cookies from The Sweet Addiction. A special thank you to the Captain William Lytle Chapter NSDAR, Stones River Chapter NSDAR, and the Colonel Hardy Murfree Chapter NSADAR, who are making this exhibit possible for viewing by our community.
