Today (Monday, July 1, 2013) marks the historic date the Middle Tennessee State University athletic department and its faithful fans have been looking forward to — officially becoming members of Conference USA.
In the 2013-14 athletic seasons, MT will look forward to contests against fellow C-USA members Charlotte, East Carolina, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UTEP and UTSA, in addition to old rivals FAU, FIU and North Texas.
To mark the historic day, several events to celebrate the move to C-USA will take place today (July 1) across Murfreesboro.
