MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - Coffee lovers in Rutherford County have something new to brew over as Tim Hortons prepares to open two new locations in Murfreesboro. Construction crews are currently active at 1622 Northwest Broad Street, transforming the former Arby's building in front of Big Lots into a new coffee and bake shop.

On the other side of town, work is moving even faster at the intersection of Lascassas Pike and Rutherford Boulevard. That location, formerly a Krystal, sits directly across from the new Aldi grocery store currently under construction. Site work there is reportedly in the final stages, with signs already visible on the property.

These two stores mark a significant expansion for the chain in Middle Tennessee following its successful launch in neighboring Wilson County.
