MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - School of Rock Murfreesboro will turn up the volume this summer for a good cause with its annual Rockin’ for a Reason concert series, a free, all-ages event designed to support local nonprofit organizations. This year’s summer concert will take place Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Hop Springs, located at 6790 John Bragg Highway in Murfreesboro. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The featured beneficiary for the event is Greenhouse Ministries, a Murfreesboro-based organization that serves individuals and families through practical assistance, educational resources, volunteer support, and relationship-based community outreach.
School of Rock Murfreesboro hosts Rockin’ for a Reason three times each year, giving students the opportunity to perform on local stages while raising money for causes that make an impact in the community. Every dollar raised through sponsorships for the July concert will go directly to Greenhouse Ministries.
The summer show will feature all of School of Rock Murfreesboro’s student performance groups, along with the school’s adult performance group. Food trucks will also be on site, making the event a family-friendly afternoon of live music, food, and community support.
“We believe music has the power to bring people together and make a real difference,” said Christy Stewart, owner of School of Rock Murfreesboro. “Rockin’ for a Reason gives our students the chance to perform while giving back to an organization doing incredible work right here in our community.”
Admission to the concert is free, but attendees are encouraged to support Greenhouse Ministries by donating at the event or in advance at greenhousemin.org/donate. New socks will also be collected on-site, as they are among the most needed items for those served by Greenhouse Ministries.
Businesses and families can also sponsor the event through two giving levels. The “Sound Crew” sponsorship allows donors to give any amount to Greenhouse Ministries and receive a social media shoutout during the week of the show. The “Headliners” sponsorship is available for businesses or families donating $300 or more and includes recognition on show-related social media posts, print materials, and the event banner.
Sign-Up and More: The deadline to sign up as a Headliner sponsor is July 1, 2026. After donating, sponsors should send their logo to murfreesboro@schoolofrock.com.
