The RUTHERFORD COUNTY TRAFFIC TASK FORCE is comprised of the police departments serving Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne and Eagleville; Rutherford County Sheriffs Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol; MTSU Police and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.



The idea of traffic is not just about the roadways, but the waterways too. In 2018, 74 people were arrested for boating under the influence in Tennessee. On the roads in Rutherford County, the TN Highway Patrol made 155 DUI arrests in 2018. Statewide, 6,973 DUI arrests were executed in 2018.
