Mid-state police agencies are warning drivers about drinking and driving over Super Bowl weekend.

Hundreds of parties are planned for Sunday's kickoff between the San Francisco 49'ers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Authorities are recommending adding a designated driver to the celebration game plan because troopers and local officers will be out in force to keep roads safe.
