Dr. Elizabeth "Liz" Rhea, age 85 died Thursday, May 30, 2019 after a 17-year battle with cancer.

Dr. Rhea is survived by her brothers, J. I. Hay and Dr. Robert Hay; sisters; Carolyn Dobbins and Sara Ruth Robbins.

She was known for her charitable giving, volunteer work and staunch support of Middle Tennessee State University.

Visitation will be 10:00AM Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.

Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
