Class size is limited, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The City will begin accepting applications promptly at 8:00am on Monday, December 16, 2013. In fairness, no applications will be accepted before the specified timeframe.  The class is open to all City residents, City employees, and people who may not live in the City of Murfreesboro but work or own property in the City.

Class participants will be expected to attend at least one City Council meeting during the two months the Citizens Academy is scheduled and may only miss one class in order to graduate.
