Governor highlights schools closing / reopening and that the Cornavirus can go undetected for days

Schools Reopening Not Exact: The date as to when schools across the state of Tennessee will reopen is a floating date that could change. Governor Bill Lee said that the situation will be examined on March 31, 2020...



As of Tuesday, March 18th - Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools will hold a full day of classes on Monday, April 6, 2020.

Being Tested: The Governor noted that those who have symptoms of the coronavirus need to be tested and that remote testing sites for coronavirus should be in place by the end of this week.



While an exact number was not released, Lee said that Tennessee currently has COVID-19 test kits available to test "thousands" daily, but more test kits will be needed.

Undetected: The Governor of Tennessee said it is important for every citizen to do their part in being responsible so the coronavirus does not spread to those with weakened immune systems...



Closings of schools, colleges and the cancellation of public events is geared towards preventing the virus from spreading.
