The woman was bleeding from the mouth and unresponsive when police arrived at the Inn Town Suites on Old Fort Parkway. Police also learned that the subject had a seizure prior to their arrival at the hotel. It was deemed that she likely suffered from a drug overdose.

As the case was further investigated, the woman was transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. After she regained consciousness, she admitted to shooting up heroin.

The 42 year old woman said that she got the drugs from an acquaintance at a gas station. However, she would not state who the acquaintance was or which gas station.

No arrests were made at the time of the report and the woman was eventually released from medical care.
