State Senator Shane Reeves won re-election to the 14th District, which includes parts of Rutherford and four other counties.

In an early morning tweet, Reeves thanks those who voted for him:

Reeves turned back Democratic challenger Chase Clemons by a districtwide margin of 71.85% to 28.15%.
