UPDATED: MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division have released the name of the victim in the case involving a woman who was shot, causing her vehicle to wreck and burst into flames on Monday, May 31st.

The female victim of the shooting and car fire has been identified as 18-year old Taia Bryant.

The incident occured on Leaf Avenue in Murfreesboro.

MPD Detectives are still investigating the case to determine what happened and why it happened.
