Here's a follow-up on how Rutherford County Fire-Rescue recently added pet oxygen masks and learned animal CPR to better serve residents in this community. On Friday (5/17/2019) that knowledge was put into practice while fighting a structure fire at 1922 Bennett Street.

The Almaville Volunteer Fire Department and Rutherford County Fire and Rescue came across a dozen kittens trapped inside the building just off Leanna Road and near I-840.

All were safely removed, revived with oxygen masks and animal CPR.
