Law Enforcement Grads Fill Local Positions Quickly

On Thursday (3/28/2019) afternoon the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy graduated more than 100 certified officers. Several of the graduates will be coming here.

Murfreesboro Police will be getting seven of those graduates to help fill 17 openings at this city's rapidly growing department. In addition, four will go to the La Vergne Police Department and one to the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office.

Families and friends gathered at the Al Menah Temple in Nashville to celebrate approximately 100 officers graduating from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. Those officers will now move to new positions at forty police and sheriff departments across the state.

Not much time is wasted between classes, as the next group begins this Sunday, March 31, 2019.
