Local Neighborhood Watch Programs Positive Tool in Fighting Crime

Neighborhood Watch programs allow for communities to band together in an effort to fight crime and keep it off of local streets. But, Rutherford County Sheriff's Sgt. Jimmy Cassidy said that sometimes the programs don't last.

The Community Services Unit of the Sheriff's Office helps citizens organize Neighborhood Watch in their communities to prevent crime and report suspicious activities.
