More fake home for rent ads are popping up in Rutherford County.

A 43 year old Lascassas Pike man in Murfreesboro thought he found the perfect place to rent. He even sent a $1,000 security deposit to the so called landlord. However, the ad that he found on Zillow.com turned out to be a fraudulent ad.

The wire transfer was sent from a Murfreesboro Walmart to a Walmart in Versailles, Pennsylvania. The man has been unable to get a refund and the case remains open.
