More on a Property Tax Increase for Murfreesboro

Martin suggested the old adage of "Growth Pays for Itself" is just not accurate.

The council recently approved a property tax hike that amounts to about a 35% increase. Now, a group against the hike is speaking out and suggesting the increase was too great. The group is known as TNrising.org. Some of the monies to be collected in the future will help to pay for trash services as the life of the landfill comes to a close in the next 5 to 7 years.
