Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra 31st Season Starts This Week

The Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra in its 31st season will present Concert IV of its 2012-2013 Season The Music of Heaven and Earth at First United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 7:30 pm with doors opening at 7:00 pm. The concert will open with a Mozart Symphony, Mozart’s “Exsultate, Jubilate” performed by the orchestra and soprano Dina Cancryn. After intermission, the orchestra will present Beethoven’s heroic “Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92,” one of Beethoven’s best loved works.


Members of the Riverdale High School Band will present the Pre-Concert Show at 6:30 pm in the narthex of the church under the direction of Band Directors Michael Amyett and Matthew Crossley.
