New Murfreesboro Firefighters

Murfreesboro, TN--Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department welcomed six new firefighters this week.

Jeffrey Adam, Blake Foster, Forrest Harvey, Phillip McLain, Kelson Mulcahy, and LaTia Sneed began their three-week orientation on Monday, July 8.

"We are pleased to add these six to our MFRD family," said Fire Rescue Chief Mark Foulks. "I know they will do great things, and I look forward to seeing them in action."

Upon completing orientation, the firefighters will receive their station assignments on their respective shifts.

Jeffrey Adam, Emergency Medical Technician
2 years of fire service experience
Married to Victoria with kids Owen (2) and Ian (1)
Hobbies include: Ice hockey, boating, and spending time with family.

Blake Foster, Emergency Medical Technician
6 years of fire service experience
Hobbies include: Fishing, hunting, and traveling.

Forrest Harvey, Emergency Medical Technician
7 years of fire service experience
Engaged to Ashley Vanderhoof
Hobbies include: Hunting and playing with his dogs.
Looks most forward to: "Joining the new family and helping as much as I can."

Phillip McLain, Paramedic
4 years of fire service experience
Married to Mary
Hobbies include: Woodworking and camping.
Looks most forward to: "Being able to learn and be a part of a skilled and knowledgeable department."

Kelson Mulcahy, Paramedic
23 years of fire service experience
Married to Erica May
Hobbies include: Cycling, hiking, and kayaking.
Looks most forward to: "Serving the community with a great family."

LaTia Sneed, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician
1 year and 3 months of fire service experience
Married to Travon with kids Jace Walker (4) and Tristan (3)
Hobbies include: Running, cooking, and being a wife and mother.
