Murfreesboro Police were recently called to a gas station at the corner of John R. Rice Blvd and Old Fort Parkway in reference to a rape.
The woman told officers that she asked the subject to stop, but he allegedly continued to push his hand down her pants penetrating her. The woman was able to get away and quickly went inside the store to tell a co-worker. That co-worker called police who are now trying to figure out the identity of the customer.
After talking to police, the victim was transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital where she underwent an evaluation and nurses completed a sexual assault exam.
No arrests have been made, but police know the suspects name.
