At approximately 11:00 o'clock Friday morning, the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue joined Kittrell Volunteer Fire Department and headed to 7800 Rhodes Lane in Lascassas for a tractor fire.

Firefighters arrived to find the tractor was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished, there were no injuries involved.

Officials warn that with hot, dry conditions, it is crucial to use extra caution while using equipment in the field or if burning.
