Lauralee Richardson earned her Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite. This is an industry-recognized certification that demonstrates expertise with the essential elements of social marketing to clients and employers.


A Walmart grant from the Memorial Blvd location has funded the social marketing certification test for 20 students at Siegel High School. Lauralee is the first marketing student from Siegel High School to earn this industry certification. This helped her achieve her overall goal of becoming class valedictorian. Lauralee also earned her Principles of Marketing college credit last spring by taking the CLEP test through the marketing program at Siegel High School. She was one of over 20 students to earn college credit for Marketing during the first year of administering the test.
