(MURFREESBORO) After four years, locally owned SIMPLY PURE SWEETS BAKERY & CAFE is moving about three blocks away. The new location is 128 N. Church Street, on the square--toward the old Methodist Church.

Many of you have gotten to know Chantel through her participation in the WGNS Birthday Club.

She said, "For those who have won the birthday goodies, just come by and get them when we re-open on the east side of the square."

This is a family owned and operated business, and they look forward to the new location being easier for customers. Plus, they're basically doubling the size of SIMPLY PURE SWEETS. The new facility will have 2,500 square feet, which dramatically increases the kitchen and bakery area--along with a more comfortable area for those who dine-in for their breakfast and lunch.

They have ceased operations at the original North Walnut Street location, and are in the process of moving the bakery and cafe to the new site that is between East Main and East College, on the east side of the square.

By the way, Chantell's husband, Matthew, represented SIMPLY PURE SWEETS at Read To Succeed's 2019 Celebrity Spelling Bee on November 7, 2019 and walked away the winner.
