As a 7th grader, Bart Walker built a low-power AM radio station. It was evident in 1957 that he had a growing passion for broadcasting. But his passion didn't earn an income to pay the FCC when they came knocking on his door, which his mother Virginia was not excited about! This is a picture of Walkers bedroom radio station when he was a middle school student.
